M. Khordipour Enterprises Jewelry — Breathtakingly Beautiful!

M. Khordipour EnterprisesI am one of those people that covet – I know that it is a sin but I have to say that everything I see that is done by M. Khordipour Enterprises I covet.  Not only does this particular brand look incredible on your finger but just seeing it in the store in NYC is enough for me … besides actually touching the jewelry.

What I love about anything done by M. Khordipour Enterprises is the fact that they take such care with their pieces and that they truly know exactly what they are doing.  Not only does every piece that comes out of the back room beautiful but it is done up in such a way that makes you want it.

Take this unique and different aquamarine/diamond ring.  Not only is it beautiful but it is definitely a left-hand ring that can be worn with anything!

Tupperware Parties Get a Whole New Take

tupperwareWhat do you think of when you hear about plastic jewelry? Probably something that comes out of a Cracker Jack box or a gumball machine, right? At the very least, something that looks cheap and could not possibly be fashionable — but, you know, that is not always true.

Check out the blog called Plastic Girl to see an exception. It belongs to Liana Kabel, an artist who is a down right genius when it comes to creating funky, eclectic, and innovative jewelry … out of Tupperware, of all things.

When you consider the fact that her mother was a Tupperware Lady and her father was a jewelry, it really makes perfect sense.

Liana has the ability to turn old Tupperware pieces into amazing necklaces, earrings, bracelets — you name it, she can do it!

And as you can see from this ring, she can do it beautifully.

JJ Singh Jewelry Will Make You Sing

jj singhThere are a whole lot of independent designers these days, not just jewelry designers, but designers of clothing, lingerie, fashion, swimwear, and various accessories as well. Jennifer Singh, also known as JJ Singh, is one of these. Her inspiration comes from ancient and old civilizations, making for pieces that are one of a kind, certainly historical, and downright stunning as well.

For example, there is unquestionably something antiquated and elegant about the JJ Singh Etruscan Signet Ring. It shows Singh’s strengths to a beautiful degree.

She loves precious metals, fabrication, clay, resin enamels, and granulation. She loves to use silver and sterling silver, plating made of 24K gold, and plenty of semi precious stones as well.

Guys, Let Jeff Cooper Make Your Love Eternal

mens-ringIt is sort of easy to forget that plenty of men like jewelry too. Sometimes the only thing that reminds me to be more gender equal is when I run across a really stunning piece, like this ring by designer Jeff Cooper.

Cooper is based in New York, and has the distinction of being voted the Designer of the Year, courtesy of the Platinum Guild International. Once you have seen his work, it is easy to understand why he earned that title.

Take, for instance, the piece here — the Jeff Cooper Eternal 12 Platinum and Diamond Mens Wedding Band. The six millimeter band features twelve princess cut diamonds with a bevel set, and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Love is eternal; marriage is eternal; fine jewelry is eternal; rings are eternal; and the ring is called Eternal — you do the math!

Versace Has Vibrant Jewelry, Too!

ver3-2When you want classic, stylish, sophisticated clothing with an edge, you turn to Versace. When you want classic, stylish, sophisticated jewelry with an edge, you go to Versace as well.

There are a lot of labels behind the Versace brand — Versace Jeans Couture, Gianni Versace Couture, plus several more. It is in Gianni Versace Couture that you can find the most exquisite jewelry you have ever seen.

I have fallen in love with this Topaz and Diamonds White Gold Ring, for instance. Usually I am not the biggest fan of topaz but I really like this, especially the way it flows with the diamonds and the white gold, which form one of my favorite combinations. The topaz is a very opulent, very decadent blue and it is accented with two Vs in perfect symmetry, complete with brilliant cut, round pave diamonds.

The Titanium Jewelry of Wallace Chan

wallacechanring01Subtitled: If You Loved Sex in the City (The Movie), You Have to Take a Look at This.

Wallace Chan is famed for his titanium jewelry, all of which is decidedly beautiful, not to mention gorgeously crafted, exquisitely designed, and expertly rendered.

But I am particularly drawn to this piece, a flower ring from Wallace Chan. Why am I drawn to this piece? Because it is reminiscent of the ring Samantha fell in love with in the aforementioned movie — however, it is much, much more tastefully done.

I found the ring in the movie absolutely exquisite — in theory. However, I also thought it was a bit too gaudy for me to ever want to wear. The same cannot be said for the ring Chan has designed. I love everything about it. I love the detail, I love that the design aesthetic is both natural yet edgy; it is elegant and too beautiful for words.

Say It With A Ruby!

Ruby RingsJewelry is more than just the look of it – when you wear a piece of jewelry, there is something that goes along with it … status.  That is very true when you wear a ruby.  Not many people can pull a ruby off, but there are some of them that can and personally, I think that real rubies are absolutely beautiful.  The Indian population is known for their use of rubies – whether it is on their foreheads or on their toes, rubies are very apparent and definitely part of the culture.

However, that does not mean that you can not wear them either.  Actually, ruby engagement rings are becoming increasing popular and I think that is beautiful!  I love – love, love red gemstones and rubies are definitely my favorite!  Whether you surround them with diamonds or you are looking for just a solitary ruby – your ring will look beautiful!

So really – rubies are the best in the world for the changing of the times and they are becoming popular everywhere!
