Engagement Rings? Royal Asscher Has You Covered!

Royal Asscher Eclipse Diamond Engagement RingLet’s have a chat about some of the latest things about the Royal Asscher family – it has been quite a while since I have done a blog about what they are doing right?  Well, I have to say that they are up to nothing but good and as always, they come to impress.

Their Eclipse collection is no different at all and this is just one engagement ring from that collection.  I love the fact that this particular ring not only has a beautifully cut diamond in the middle, but the ring itself is thicker and the circles of diamonds are very attractive.

The Royal Asscher Eclipse collection is something that I took a deep look at every single piece and I have found that they are all beautifully done and once again, the Royal Asscher is a family that I would be very proud to have on my finger!

Open Wide and Say “Ohm!”

Yet again we have a jewelry designer who incorporates real meaning into her gorgeous pieces.  This is a necklace designed by Jennifer Meyer.  Rendered in gorgeous white gold (but available in yellow gold as well), the ‘Ohm’ design is rendered in beautiful diamond pave on — in this version — a disc of white gold matte.

The white gold itself is a whopping eighteen karats; the white gold chain is sixteen inches.

According to the designer herself and sellers as well, simply wearing this beautiful necklace with its unquestionably meaningful pendant will bring you peace and keep you calm.  Rather than repeating the well known meditation mantra throughout the day, it will be sending calming waves to you the entire time you are wearing it.

In addition to being soothing, this piece is simply down right gorgeous — and that combination is terribly hard to find.  A piece like this is a true innovation.  You definitely do not see necklaces like this every day.  It costs about fifteen hundred dollars, depending on where you buy it, but I think a lot of you will agree that the readily apparent and exquisite craftsmanship makes this necklace well worth the price.

SpongeBob In Diamonds: Did You Think It Was Possible?

Well, I certainly didn’t!  I did not expect to be seeing a diamond pendant that was SpongeBob’s face, but there it is!  Now, this pendant was not just created for the heck of it all, this beautiful piece was actually created in honor of SpongeBob SquarePants’ 10th anniversary and it was created by the Simmons Jewelry Co., together with Nickelodeon itself.

Now don’t go thinking that you can purchase this beautiful piece of jewelry for your home collection, this pendant is to be auctioned off for charity, but it is worth roughly $75,000.  It holds about twelve carats of diamonds in all sorts of different colors and is 18-karat yellow and white gold.

So if you are one of the biggest SpongeBob fans and you are looking for a piece of jewelry that will let you have our dear spongy friend around your neck, take a trip on down to Park City, Utah during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and you will see this beautiful piece up-close and personal!
